Health & Safety Advisor -Waste Management
EXPERIENCED HEALTH & SAFETY ADVISOR
Strong Health & Safety skills required for an operation within the waste management & recycling sector
TITLE: Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor
SALARY: £40,000 - £45,000 + pension
LOCATION: West Midlands – Cradley Heath and surrounding areas
ROLE: Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor
Previous experience in an HSEQ, HSE, SHEQ, or similar compliance-focused role.
Strong knowledge of UK Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality legislation.
Experience conducting internal audits and supporting external audits.
Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to influence and engage employees at all levels of the organisation.
Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment.
EXPERIENCE: Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor
Experience working within heavy industry, manufacturing, waste management, recycling, engineering, or other industrial environments.
Previous experience working with or alongside the Environment Agency (EA) or Natural Resources Wales.
Knowledge of environmental permitting regulations.
IOSH Managing Safely, NEBOSH General Certificate, or equivalent qualification.
WAMITAB qualification, or willingness to obtain one.
Experience maintaining ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 management systems.
